Andretti Formula E driver Jake Dennis is preparing to marry his longtime partner, Lexi Grace Boosey. The couple became engaged in December last year, shortly after Dennis won the season-opening race of Formula E Season 12 in São Paulo.
Following the Berlin double-header, where Dennis finished sixth in the second race, Boosey dropped a subtle hint about their wedding plans. She posted a photo on Instagram showing the pair chatting trackside, with Dennis holding an umbrella over them. The caption read: “Is now a good time to discuss the flower arrangements?” accompanied by a bride emoji. The post was shared only with select followers. Boosey also reposted the image on her Instagram Stories, reflecting on her time in Berlin. The couple recently moved into a new home in Marbella, Spain, which Boosey has described as “his holiday home.” The property features neutral and earthy tones.
On the track, Dennis earned 11 points with a fifth-place finish in Round 7 and eight points in Round 8 of the Berlin E-Prix. He also secured the fastest lap in Round 7, adding bonus points. He currently sits seventh in the Formula E Drivers’ Standings with 66 points. Dennis shared moments from the weekend on social media, writing: “Leaving Berlin with a 5th & 6th! We’ll take the points. Monaco next.” Round 7 was won by his former Andretti teammate Nico Müller, marking Müller’s first Formula E victory, while Jaguar’s Mitch Evans took Round 8. Dennis, who signed a contract extension with Andretti earlier this year, has been with the team since his Formula E debut in 2020, now competing in his sixth season in the all-electric series.
