The 110th running of the Indianapolis 500, a crown jewel of global motorsport and part of the Triple Crown, officially kicks off this Tuesday, May 12, 2026.

Following tradition, the week will be filled with free practice sessions and qualifying rounds, which will determine the starting grid for the main event on May 24. For the first time since 2022, a full field of 33 drivers is entered, meaning there will be no eliminations on Bump Day.
