After Al-Ahli’s 2-1 away victory over Al-Taawoun in the Saudi Pro League’s 32nd round, head coach Matthias Yaisler addressed speculation about his future at the club during the post-match press conference.
The German tactician described the win as “well-deserved” and expressed pride in his players’ performance. He noted that even after securing the Asian Champions League title, the team maintained a strong desire to win and intense match passion, which delighted him. Yaisler emphasized that securing a road victory against a formidable opponent known for its strong home record was a very positive sign.

When questioned about mounting rumors linking him with a potential exit at the end of the season, Yaisler responded calmly, stating that such speculation is “totally normal” as the campaign winds down. He reiterated that his full attention remains on training and match preparation, with the sole goal of leading the team to further victories in the remaining fixtures, undisturbed by outside noise.
“With the season drawing to a close, these kinds of rumors naturally appear,” Yaisler said at the press conference. “But all my focus is on the work and the games ahead. I want to continue winning with this team in the upcoming matches.”
