Tottenham head coach Roberto De Zerbi believes his players possess the quality needed to secure Premier League survival, following a 1-1 draw with Leeds United that leaves his side two points clear of the relegation zone with only two matches remaining.
“It was a hard-fought point, but we showed character,” De Zerbi said after the match. “The squad is good enough to stay up. We have to believe in ourselves and focus on the next two games.”
The result keeps Tottenham’s fate in their own hands, though their margin for error is slim. De Zerbi acknowledged the pressure but stressed that maintaining composure will be key.
“We cannot afford to lose focus now. Every player must give everything in these final fixtures. I trust them,” he added.
Tottenham next face a crucial away trip before hosting their final home game of the season. With safety still not guaranteed, De Zerbi is counting on his team to deliver when it matters most.
