Hansi Flick has etched his name in Barcelona’s history by securing a second straight La Liga title, following a decisive 2-0 win over Real Madrid in the latest El Clasico. The victory, achieved on Sunday in the 35th round, underlined Flick’s remarkable influence on the Catalan side.

Statistical expert “Mr. Chip” highlighted that Flick is the first coach ever to win six out of his first seven Clasico matches. In contrast, Pep Guardiola—the legendary former Barcelona manager—won only five of his initial seven Clasicos with the club.

Since arriving at Camp Nou in the summer of 2024, Flick has made Barcelona a formidable opponent for Real Madrid. The Blancos have tasted victory just once under his reign, a narrow win in the first half of this season’s La Liga. Overall, Barcelona have netted 22 goals against Real Madrid while conceding 11 under Flick’s guidance.
