The New York Knicks defeated the Philadelphia 76ers in a home game during the second round of the NBA playoffs.
The matchup in New York ended with a lopsided score of 137:98 (33:25, 41:26, 35:27, 28:20).
Knicks point guard Jalen Brunson led the charge with 35 points. For Philadelphia, small forward Paul George was the top scorer with 17 points.
According to the NBA press office, New York became the first team in history to win three consecutive playoff games by a margin of 25 or more points. Earlier, the Knicks had defeated Atlanta in the first round 126:97 and 140:89.
The series, best of seven, now stands at 1-0 in favor of the Knicks. The next game is scheduled for May 6 in New York.
